The Oyster
The week before an EF academic travel tour is a rollercoaster of emotion for students — it’s full of high expectations, nervousness, and a whole lot of excitement. To help students ease into the experience, we created The Oyster: a handy booklet filled with important information and fun activities.
As the lead writer on this piece, it was up to me to establish a tone, the flow of activities (as well as the activities themselves), and the branding. Once dubbed the Student Handbook, The Oyster transformed into a quirky and warm printed piece that delivers info alongside humor and literal pearls of wisdom.
