Summit Internship Program

Every year, EF Education First—an international company that specializes in academic travel — hosts a global leadership summit for students. And every year, students from around the U.S. get to experience themed programming, thought leader speakers (one year they brought in Jane Goodall!), and life-changing moments. A special select group of students get to kick the experience up a notch with, you guessed it, the Summit Internship Program.
What it isn’t
This is not your average short-term internship and the language needed to reflect that. To get middle and high school students involved, it’s key to make the proposition eye-catching, practical, and most of all, fun.
What it is
The Summit Internship Program is a short-term internship but on jet fuel. Students get to work with EF staff to learn new skills, capture amazing moments, and learn how our Summits are run. Each student can choose one of four areas of focus—public speaking, photography, journalism, or social media—and they’ll work on projects related to their selection.
